Frequently Asked Questions

How exactly does the program work?

If you choose to get the program plus medication, you will complete one purchase. The cost of the program is built into your medication cost. You will be automatically added to the program upon purchase of your medication. The amount you pay at your initial purchase will stay the same, even if the dosage changes.

What is a GLP-1 and how does it work?

Click on the option above that says "Program + Medication". This will direct you to the page that tells you more about GLPs. They are a naturally occurring hormone your body makes after eating. The medication mimics this hormone, reducing hunger, slows digestion and helps to regulate blood sugar. Think of it like removing one of the barriers that's been working against you. But the medication is only part of the equation - how you support it is just as important.

Will I regain weight after I stop taking a GLP-1?

If you do not have a long-term strategy in place, you will likely regain. It is designed as a long-term medication for chronic conditions (such as obesity/metabolic dysfunction, diabetes). Once you stop, your body's appetite regulation will go back to baseline within 1-2 weeks. This is where the support program comes in. Our 24-week framework builds the nutritional foundations, supplement protocols, and behavior shifts during your GLP journey so you have something sustainable to anchor into long-term.

What are the side effects?

Most side effects are gastrointestinal and happen during the first 4-5 months. Common ones include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach discomfort. These typically improve as your body adjusts and you get the right dose that works for you. This is why it's important to educate yourself on the types of GLP-1s available as well as the dosing (standard vs microdosing). You can then discuss with our provider what the best option for you would be. Note that not everyone experiences side effects and severity varies widely and is often dose dependent. Slow dose increases and eating the right foods will help. Our nutrition protocol is specifically designed around this.

Who is a good candidate for GLP-1?

Candidacy is individual. Pre-existing conditions, medications you're on, your metabolic picture, and your health history all matter. A thorough screening by someone who understands the whole picture helps to identify whether GLP-1 is truly right for you or whether something else is a better first step. Our prescribing provider can assist you with that.

Why would I need a program if I'm already on medication?

The medication is a tool, not a complete strategy. It addresses appetite and digestion, but it doesn't teach you:

-How to fuel your body properly on GLP (protein needs, micro/macro nutrient needs)

-Which supplements actually matter for your metabolic type

-How to navigate side effects with nutrition

-What to do if the medication stops working or you want to taper off

-Why the scale stalls and what to do about it

The program bridges that gap. We guide you through the 24-week window so you're building metabolic resilience, not just losing weight quickly.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

This varies widely based on your starting point, metabolism, adherence, and which medication you are on. Clinical trials show average weight loss of 15-22% of body weight over 72 weeks. Some people see results faster, some take longer. Your genetics, other health conditions, and what you're eating all play a role. GLP-1s aren't a magic want. The weight comes off because you're eating differently, usually less. You still have to eat well-chosen foods. Junk in means junk out. The appetite suppression doesn't overcome poor nutrition choices
